The Opportunity
Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) powers the storefronts of some of the world’s largest enterprise brands. When something goes wrong at that scale, it matters — and that’s where our Customer Engineering team comes in.
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our Tier III Customer Engineering team in Bucharest. This team is responsible for diagnosing and resolving the most complex software issues in the Adobe Commerce core, developing hotfixes and patches, contributing to new releases, and ensuring zero disruption for enterprise merchants across EMEA.
This is a hands-on engineering role. You will read and reason about core platform code, implement fixes under time pressure without breaking backward compatibility, and contribute to platform documentation. You need to understand Adobe Commerce at its deepest level — architecture, module interconnections, performance, security, frontend, backend, database, and cloud. If that’s the kind of work that excites you, we’d love to talk!
