International Trade Compliance Analyst
Łódź, Poland - Hybrid Setting
Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Classify products using customs tariff codes and determine country of origin.
- Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and sanitary/phytosanitary regulations.
- Advise on import/export requirements, including documentation, licenses, and registrations.
- Manage customs procedures, brokerage processes, and trade compliance master data in SAP/GTS.
- Screen business partners against sanctions and restricted party lists.
- Support import/export audits and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Regulatory, QA, R&D, Finance, Customer Service) and external authorities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
- Provide timely support on cross-border issues to ensure business continuity.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in international trade, customs or trade compliance.
- Good Knowledge of EU/US customs regulations and global trade compliance principles.
- Experience in the food industry or with sanitary/phytosanitary regulations is an advantage.
- Strong systems skills, ideally including SAP, GTS, or other ERP platforms.
- Fluent English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
