Position: Microbiologist
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $40 - $60/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Analyze the growth, structure, and behavior of microorganisms including bacteria and fungi.
- Study relationships between microorganisms and disease to support AI training.
- Evaluate the effects of antibiotics and other agents on microbial systems.
- Document experimental findings for integration into AI training datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific accuracy.
- Provide expert insights on microbiological processes and data interpretation.
- Apply structured evaluation frameworks to assess data quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in microbial systems including bacteria and fungi.
- Strong understanding of microbial structure, physiology, and behavior.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and scientific accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in remote environments.
- Experience documenting scientific processes and findings.
