Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain a range of biomedical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance and performance verifications in line with manufacturer guidelines and organisational policies.
- Provide technical support and training to clinical staff, helping them get the most from the technology they rely on.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and asset records.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer service, and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality.
Qualifications
- A qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience servicing medical or electrical equipment (or a passion and willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clinicians, technicians, and stakeholders.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Current driver’s licence.
