Analyst and Associate, AI Product and Technology Advisory

You will play a hands-on role shaping how software and SaaS businesses across Europe approach AI, while gaining early responsibility and exposure to senior stakeholders in a fast-moving investment environment.

They are a European private equity investor focused on software and SaaS businesses, supporting a diverse portfolio through dedicated value creation teams. With an active and growing portfolio, they work closely with leadership teams to assess technology maturity, identify AI opportunities, and manage disruption risk. The organisation is ambitious, collaborative, and currently investing further in its AI and technology advisory capability.

The Role

You will sit within a specialist Product, Technology and AI team, working across the portfolio rather than on a single business. Your work will be advisory rather than delivery focused, helping leadership teams make informed decisions around AI and technology strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing AI and technology readiness across portfolio companies.
• Advising senior stakeholders on AI strategy, opportunities, and risks.
• Supporting CTOs and product leaders with AI roadmaps and prioritisation.
• Designing and facilitating workshops and portfolio-wide events.
• Contributing to the development of an AI community across the portfolio.
• Engaging with a broad range of software and SaaS businesses with varying levels of AI maturity.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong consulting or advisory capability, with confidence operating at senior stakeholder level.
• Solid understanding of AI, data, and modern technology landscapes.
• Experience working with software or SaaS businesses, either in-house or as an advisor.
• Ability to provide strategic guidance rather than hands-on implementation.
• Comfortable working across multiple businesses and ambiguous problem spaces.
• Dutch language skills are highly valued due to stakeholder interaction.
