JD:
PRODUCT APPROVAL
• Participate to categories meetings to follow up the developments.
• Receive the approval samples list from merchandiser and BR team and organize samples for approval accordingly updating the FUP spreadsheet with the deadline in a FAST mindset.
• Organize the samples approval folders.
• Approve color chips and lab dips accordingly with the deadline in a FAST mindset. Always cross check with Designer/Merchandiser if have any doubt.
• Samples Review accordingly to deadlines in a FAST mindset under design coordinator approval: Provide detailed technical/visual feedback to ensure samples meet brand standards, recorded on the folders and send review to Brazil team.• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with Suppliers and Merchandising Team to troubleshoot any quality or design issues during sampling stage, ensuring final approvals meet brand requirements.
SOURCING
• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner and new suppliers across Asia ensuring all compliance aspects. Promotes clear communication and reliable adherence to timelines and workflow.
• Product/Cost Engineering: Guide new suppliers onboarded with cost engineering guidelines in support to Merchandising team.
• Conduct Market Research, Trend analysis and gather Suppliers Information to bring product opportunities and ensure designs are both commercially viable and innovative.
• Availability to attend Business trips focused on Sourcing & Negotiation.
• Support Design team BR.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
• Support Development with Textile Technical Solutions and Active Problem Solving.
• Check design specifications to guide suppliers effectively.
• Check look and feel of textiles, focusing in finishings and prices.
OPERATIONAL
• Operational daily routine as DHL.
• Organize showroom – samples, color chips and packagings – for the development meetings with suppliers or with Brazil.
• Organize files accordingly with the orders issued and keep this file well organize to optimize the approvals..
• Receive samples from suppliers/Brazil and send by courier to suppliers/Brazil.
Requirement:
1. Candidates must submit a portfolio demonstrating creative skills in textiles;
2. Excellent communication skills in English (advanced level), including the ability to write and speak clearly and professionally;
3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field;
4. Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to product design specifications, quality and brand aesthetics;
5. Must be efficient in Adobe Creative Suite;
6. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change;
7. Extremely organized, efficient and detail-oriented;
8. Excellent calendar adherence and ownership;
9. Prior experience preparing briefing presentations for suppliers;
10. Clear understanding of product development and production process;
11. Experience in identifying and contributing trends and inspiration based on the given concept direction;
12. Experience developing product directly with factories is a plus;
13. Knowledge of textile sourcing or sustainable materials is a plus.
