Compliance Manager | 1m-1.5m South Africa Rand | Global IoT Hardware | Johannesburg, South Africa
Working with a global IoT hardware business scaling across the US and Europe. They build connected devices across asset tracking and industrial applications.
This hire will own global compliance and certification, ensuring products meet regulatory requirements and launch on time across multiple regions.
Ideal background:
- 7+ years in product compliance / regulatory (IoT, telecoms, electronics)
- Experience with FCC, CE/RED, PTCRB, carrier approvals
- Strong understanding of RF, cellular (LTE-M / NB-IoT), embedded hardware
- Experience managing global certification processes
- Worked closely with engineering teams + external labs
What you’ll be doing:
- Own end-to-end global compliance strategy
- Lead certification across US, EU, APAC
- Oversee testing & validation (RF, safety, carrier)
- Embed compliance into the product lifecycle early
- Improve time-to-market + reduce risk
