Human Resources Generalist

Location: East Hartford, CT

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional with 2–3 years of experience who enjoys supporting day-to-day HR operations, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee administration in a fast-paced environment.

This role will work closely with our HR Business Partner and help support key HR functions while ensuring processes are accurate, compliant, and employee-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day HR administrative activities for the business
  • Assist with payroll coordination, employee records, and HR documentation
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies, employment practices, and multi-state labor law requirements
  • Partner closely with the HRBP to support employee matters, onboarding, offboarding, and HR operations
  • Maintain accurate employee files, data entry, and reporting within HR systems
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee questions as needed
  • Help track and support compliance-related items, audits, and required documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate HR support
  • Provide general administrative support for HR projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, Payroll, or related support roles
  • Experience supporting payroll and HR compliance processes
  • Knowledge of multi-state employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience working with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
