Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy Junior BIM Consultant to join our digital design team. This role is perfect for a Revit-proficient professional looking to specialize in the technical "engine room" of BIM: content creation and standardization.
You will assist in building Revit library and maintaining project templates under the guidance of our Senior Consultants. This is a high-growth role where you will apply ISO 19650 principles and work within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) ecosystem on international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Family Creation: Assist in developing and modifying parametric Revit families, ensuring they meet the required LOD (Level of Development) and naming conventions.
- Template Support: Help update and audit Revit templates, including managing view templates, filters, and project parameters.
- Data Entry & Management: Ensure BIM models are populated with accurate metadata and shared parameters as defined in the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- CDE Assistance: Upload, organize, and maintain project files within the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) environment.
- Quality Control: Perform basic model health checks to identify and fix warnings, redundant elements, or broken links.
- Documentation: Assist in creating "How-to" guides and technical workflows for the wider design team.
Technical Requirements
- Software Skills: Solid foundational knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- BIM Literacy: Basic understanding of what ISO 19650 is and why BIM standards are important for project delivery.
- Cloud Collaboration: Familiarity with (or a strong desire to learn) Autodesk Construction Cloud / Forma.
- Language Skills: High level of English (B2+/C1). You must be able to read technical manuals, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with international teams.
Education & Experience
- Academic Background: Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or specialized BIM Technician certification.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience working in a BIM environment (internships count!).
- Valued Qualification: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s in BIM Management will be highly regarded as a sign of your commitment to the field.
Soft Skills
- Eagerness to Learn: A proactive attitude toward mastering complex Revit tools and new software.
- Methodical Approach: Great attention to detail; you understand that a small error in a template can affect a hundred users.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to take feedback from senior experts and apply it to improve your technical output.
