Position Overview

As Tencent continues to expand its Cloud business across Southeast Asia and global markets, we are looking for a Global Talent Acquisition Intern eager to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. This role goes beyond traditional recruitment exposure - in addition to sourcing and attracting talent for assigned roles, you will participate in a variety of cross-border projects, including talent mapping, workflow optimization with AI tools, data analytics, and strategic reporting. It’s an ideal opportunity for those keen to understand how scalable cloud teams are built, while honing their recruiting, analytical, operational, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand talent requirements and workforce plans for Tencent Cloud roles across the APAC region
  • Proactively identify, engage, and assess prospective candidates through diverse sourcing channels, introducing Tencent Cloud opportunities and evaluating candidate alignment and interest
  • Conduct structured market research and talent mapping initiatives to build targeted, high-quality candidate pools across multiple countries
  • Build and maintain sustainable talent pipelines for strategic and high-demand roles using Workday ATS and Beamery CRM systems
  • Support employer branding initiatives and sourcing campaigns, including referral programs, social outreach, and related coordination and administrative activities
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives such as recruitment process optimization, automation projects, AI tool integration, and dashboard analytics enhancement

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline (HR, Business, Data Analytics, Psychology, etc.)
  • Prior internship experience in talent acquisition is preferred, especially in tech/internet firms
  • Proficient in English and Chinese Mandarin (written and spoken) to support communication with regional teams and candidates
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and excited to work across cultures and time zones
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and capable of owning small projects independently
  • Able to commit for full-time internship between April - August 2026
