About This Role
BitMart US is seeking an experienced and business-oriented Head of Product to own BitMart US’s core product strategy, roadmap, and cross-functional execution.
This role is critical to BitMart US’s next phase of growth. BitMart US expects the candidate to define clear product direction while deeply understanding the market, users, and competitive landscape, identifying sustainable differentiation opportunities for a mid-sized exchange, and driving platform growth, user experience improvements, and measurable business outcomes. BitMart US is looking for a product leader who can think strategically while also getting deeply involved in key product decisions. Strong experience in trading products, payment systems, fund flows, or financial product ecosystems is essential to help BitMart US build a platform that users actively choose.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and drive overall product strategy, planning, and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business goals, market opportunities, and user needs.
- Lead the development and iteration of core product modules, including but not limited to trading, payments, deposits/withdrawals, account experience, user growth, conversion, and retention.
- Conduct in-depth market, user, and competitor analysis to identify differentiation opportunities and drive actionable product strategies.
- Partner closely with leadership to translate business strategy into clear product roadmaps and milestones, continuously strengthening product impact on business growth.
- Build and optimize product management processes, including requirement evaluation, prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, product reviews, and post-launch analysis, to improve execution quality and delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, marketing, operations, compliance, and risk teams to drive complex product delivery from concept to launch, balancing user experience, compliance, and business objectives.
- Define and manage key product metrics, continuously tracking and optimizing user growth, conversion, retention, trading activity, volume, and revenue contribution.
- Build and lead a high-performing product team, strengthening capabilities in user insight, product judgment, execution, and outcome orientation.
- Continuously explore new product directions, business opportunities, and market needs in a fast-evolving environment to drive innovation and long-term competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership or head-of-product level experience.
- Strong experience in trading or payment products, with a deep understanding of user scenarios, product logic, and business models; experience in fintech, brokerage, exchanges, payment platforms, or digital assets is preferred.
- Solid understanding of financial products, especially in areas such as funds, trading, payments, accounts, security, and trust.
- Strong business acumen and market judgment, with the ability to make high-quality product decisions based on user needs, competitive landscape, and business goals.
- Proven track record of driving product growth from 0→1 or scaling stages, with measurable impact on user growth, revenue, or key business metrics.
- Background in traditional finance or deep understanding of securities, brokerage, capital markets, payment systems, or banking is a plus.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence leadership and drive complex initiatives.
- Data-driven mindset, combining quantitative analysis, user insights, and business judgment to prioritize and evaluate outcomes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-complexity, and high-performance environment.
- Experience with global products, multi-region users, or international markets is a plus.
- Experience in crypto, exchanges, Web3, or related fintech industries is a strong plus.
