A Day in the Life as a Senior Field Engineer

As a Senior Field Engineer, you'll provide advanced hands-on technical expertise in the installation, commissioning, training, and servicing of commercial and industrial laundry equipment across North America. In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of OEM equipment
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and distributor service personnel, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, distributors, and internal teams, providing expert guidance on product service issues, troubleshooting, and corrective actions
  • Act as a liaison for between the service and sales teams, training sales personnel on product capabilities, equipment sizing and layout considerations, and communicating installation requirements, operational considerations, and field-related challenges
  • Provide management with detailed reports and recommendations regarding product improvements, technical manuals, and equipment service/reliability concerns
  • Partner with OEM product engineers to identify and resolve product and component issues impacting performance

What You Need

  • Associate's degree in electromechanical or related area of study, certified electrician status, or other applicable area of education
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in technical service of industrial laundry equipment or like equivalent
  • Valid driver's license an clear driving record
  • Solid electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, technological aptitude
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and analyze in a goal-oriented manner
