As Social Media Manager, you will own and drive the global social media strategy, shape the brand’s voice across multiple platforms, and play a key role in building strong communities, viral content, and influence-led growth.

You will work closely with leadership teams, creators, ambassadors, and internal stakeholders, while also acting as a social media reference and face of best practices.

This role goes far beyond content posting it is about impact, visibility, and influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and execution of a social media strategy
  • Lead and mentor your team of social media and content creation professionals
  • Guide country teams to align with global goals and compliance while staying relevant to local audiences.
  • Leverage trends, ambassadors, and platform opportunities to boost reach and virality.
  • Manage content planning, publishing, paid campaigns, and community engagement.
  • Present key results, insights, and strategic updates in meetings with the CEO and Management Board
  • Join company events and travel incentives to maximize social media impact

Profile & Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s or master’s degree either in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a strong social media experience, ideally within a digital agency, or a global consumer brand
  • Proven experience managing high-visibility social media accounts and growing engaged communities
  • You are personally active on social media and understand influence, storytelling, and audience behavior first-hand
  • Strong understanding of platforms, algorithms, and performance levers (TikTok, Instagram, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Demonstrated ability to create or oversee viral, high-performing content
  • Hands-on experience with analytics and management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Asana, or similar)
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong creative instincts
  • Comfortable presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Open to occasional business travel
