Medical Laboratory Technologist (Client and Specimen Management)

We Are Looking For a Motivated And Driven Individual To Join Our Team In Providing Leadership And Management Of The Client And Specimen Management Section. You Will

• Lead a team of about 40 laboratory staff on handling of client enquiries and specimen management
• Conduct detailed investigations on client and specimen management issues
• Participate actively in quality assurance and management
• Assist in establishing, implementing and updating policies and procedures and other related duties as requested or directed
• Assist in staff training and competency assessment for continuous professional development
• Work closely with management team to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences or its equivalent
• Minimum 2 year(s) of relevant work experience
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in the delivery of Pathology Laboratory Services, including use of lab information system
• Able to work both independently and in a team
• Able to work with a diverse group of stakeholders with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to perform 24 hours on-call duties on a rotational basis
• Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrate proactiveness with good leadership skills
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
