Our Requirements:

• University degree from a reputable law faculty (Master degree is an asset),
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience in banking, finance, fintech and AML regulations.
• Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in banking operations,
• Strong drafting, negotiating and writing skills both in Turkish and English (proven by IELTS or TOEFL score or any similar certificate will be appreciated),
• Comprehensive knowledge on payment services and electronic money, banking & financing services, fintech, AML, contracts and information technologies law,
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines,
• Having analytical and problem solving mind,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications,

Your Responsibilities:

• Carrying out the compliance processes in accordance with the regulations, regulatory requirements and adherence to regulatory policies and processes and the relevant legislations including but not limited to Law No. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and E-Money Institutions, Law No. 6361 On Financial Leasing, Factoring And Financing Companies and Law No. 5549 Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime Law,
• Assist to the company both in projects and for daily basis matters with Payment Services and Electronic Money, Financing Services, Fintech and Information Technologies law,
• Prepare legal opinions on banking regulations, payment services & e-money, financing and AML regulatory matters. (BaaS process experience is a plus)
• Draft, review, prepare various contracts, provide legal advice and ensure all contracts are applicable to law,
• Provide legal advice on matters pertaining to laws and regulations related to the group companies’ operating fields,
• Monitor and follow up the amendments on the relevant legislation and inform the departments,
