What will you do:
Technology Partnerships & Scouting
- Identify and engage relevant technology developers in China, including vendors, OEMs, universities, and design institutes.
- Conduct structured technology and market scouting aligned with product management and R&D priorities.
- Represent Linde Engineering at selected industry conferences, technical symposia, and innovation forums.
Technology Assessment & Enablement
- Assess external technologies for technical maturity, performance, scalability, and fit with Linde Engineering applications.
- Support technical due diligence and early feasibility evaluations in collaboration with global R&D teams.
- Enable laboratory, pilot, and demonstration activities through Linde Engineering’s global R&D and engineering facilities.
Collaboration & Implementation
- Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with external partners.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs), Product Management, Procurement, and regional engineering teams.
- Support deployment of qualified technologies into regional and global projects to enhance competitiveness and capital efficiency.
What makes you great:
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Cryogenic Engineering, Energy/Power Engineering, or related fields.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in R&D, engineering, or technology development roles.
- Experience with public companies, SOEs, OEMs, universities, research institutes, or design institutes is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of industrial engineering, technology development, and scale‑up environments.
- Established professional network with relevant technology developers in China.
- Proven ability to initiate, develop, and sustain technical partnerships.
- Broad technical understanding with strong analytical and evaluation skills.
- Effective communicator, able to translate external technology insights into actionable recommendations.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin proficiency required.
