Main Purpose of Job
Proactively identify, connect, and leverage external resources, partners, and packaging trends to drive innovative packaging solutions. Bridge internal capabilities with external opportunities, ensuring the successful implementation of new packaging concepts and technologies within the organization.
Job Description
1. Scout and build relationships with external partners (suppliers, startups) to access cutting-edge packaging technologies and trends. Analyze packaging trends, translate insights, share internally and drive actionable innovation projects. Connect internal R&D, manufacturing, and business teams with external resources on packaging innovation.
2. Support packaging related/ technical workshops, provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal teams for new packaging solutions. Lead or support cross-functional packaging development projects from concept to industrialization. Ensure packaging solutions meet sustainability, quality, and regulatory requirements.
3. Contribute to competence development in the field of packaging expertise, propose and implement latest new technology related to structure design. Integrate knowledge in the interpretation of the results. Connect with & leverage the Nestle packaging network, contributing to establishment of best practices.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor or Higher Degree in Packaging Technology/Science/ Engineering or related subject.
2. >8 yrs of working experience.
3. Preferably relevant experience e.g. R&D/Corporate.
4. Experience in managing external partnerships or open innovation projects in F&B industry, extensive network/ relationship with suppliers for project collaboration.
5. Knowledge on packaging materials and technologies .
6. Has consumer insight and the ability to identify trends for innovation.
7. Creative mindset, willingness and ability to lead change.
8. Ability to communicate effectively and openly.
