The Opportunity
TP is the global leader in digital business services, delivering AI-powered, data-driven solutions that enable the world’s leading enterprises to scale responsibly. Within TP, TP.ai Data Services focuses on building and managing the data ecosystems that power AI, Generative AI, and advanced analytics.
Our Data Engineering & Management (DE&M) team provides enterprise clients with solutions spanning cloud-native data platforms, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and managed data operations. By combining deep technical expertise with operational scale, TP.ai helps Fortune 100 companies unlock the value of their data with efficiency, compliance, and innovation.
We are seeking a Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead to drive solution strategy, sales growth, and market positioning for TP.ai’s Data Engineering & Management portfolio. This executive will be responsible for shaping TP.ai’s DE&M offerings, defining the GTM playbook, and partnering with global sales, product, and delivery leaders to accelerate growth. The GTM Lead will combine strategic vision, client-facing sales leadership, and technical depth to position TP.ai as a market leader in data engineering, cloud platforms, and enterprise-scale data management. This is a high-impact role with direct responsibility for driving revenue growth, innovating solutions, and ensuring client success.
The Responsibilities & Duties
- Own end-to-end data architecture design across data lakes, lakehouses, real-time streaming pipelines, and ETL/ELT workflows for enterprise clients.
- Define scalable, modular, and interoperable data architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Design and implement DataOps frameworks that improve pipeline automation, data quality, and observability across delivery engagements.
- Lead technical teams in reducing data latency, optimizing compute/storage costs, and ensuring high availability and reliability of data platforms.
- Architect data governance frameworks — lineage, cataloging, access controls, and quality metrics — and ensure delivery aligns with GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.
- Serve as the lead technical architect on client engagements, translating business requirements into detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams, and implementation of roadmaps.
- Partner closely with the Capability Leader and Business Development team to shape data engineering solutions during the sales cycle, including solution design, technical scoping, and architecture justification for proposals.
- Lead client workshops, technical discovery sessions, PoCs, and solution demonstrations to showcase data engineering capabilities and win new business.
- Contribute technical input into RFP responses and deal structuring — architecture options, feasibility, effort estimation, and risk considerations.
- Stay ahead of emerging data technologies (orchestration frameworks like Airflow, Dagster, Prefect; data mesh/fabric architectures; AI-ready data pipelines) and bring these into client solutioning.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to data engineers and solution architects within the practice; contribute to internal enablement on data engineering best practices and modernization approaches.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, Security, Operations, and Trust & Safety teams to ensure integrated, compliant, and future-proof client data environments.
The Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data architecture and data engineering, including at least 3+ years in a lead architect capacity on enterprise-scale data platform engagements.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in cloud-native data solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data platforms (data lakes, lakehouses, streaming architectures).
- Strong track record designing and delivering ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration frameworks, and large-scale data integration solutions.
- Solid working knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks, and experience operationalizing them within client environments.
- Demonstrated experience as a client-facing technical lead — architecting solutions during pre-sales, running PoCs, and presenting to client technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, cost-conscious architecture decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with capability leaders and business development on new opportunity development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with orchestration and workflow management tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) and data mesh or data fabric architectures.
- Exposure to AI/ML data enablement — data curation, annotation pipelines, ML-ready dataset design.
- Experience contributing technical input to commercial conversations — effort estimation, architecture-driven cost trade-offs, or solution pricing input (without primary ownership of pricing strategy).
- Industry depth in one or more of: Technology, BFSI, Retail, Gaming, or Healthcare.
- Thought leadership via publications, conference speaking, or patents in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
