Position: Head of Marketing, Westbund Central
Location: Shanghai
Key Accountabilities:
1. Full-Scope Marketing Ownership: Solely responsible for the entire marketing & communications function in Westbund Central, covering brand strategy, PR, social media, events, and agency management. Operated hands-on across all tactical and strategic areas.
2. Cross-functional leadership and budget management: As the head of the Westbund Central marketing team, served as the core liaison between global marketing, public relations, creative and digital agencies, overseeing the management and budget allocation of the Branding team to ensure that local execution strategies were in line with the global strategic direction.
3. Developed and implemented a strategic marketing campaign that integrated offline retail events, customer engagement initiatives, and digital promotional efforts to enhance brand visibility and drive customer participation.
4. Independently conducted specialized research on brand strategy, performed in- depth analysis of market trends and competitive landscapes, and delivered actionable insights and recommendations with strategic guidance value.
5. Spearheaded the planning and coordination of brand promotion and communication strategies across the project lifecycle, collaborated in the formulation of public relations activity plans and media investment budgets, and ensured effective alignment and execution efficiency between brand communication objectives and financial resource allocation.
6. Managed relationships with key external stakeholders, including partner organizations and major media outlets, to enhance the brand’s visibility, credibility, and social influence within the public relations domain.
7. Formulate and drive the implementation of brand strategic planning, participate in special research and strategy formulation, and promote efficient cross-departmental collaboration and execution synergy.
8. Provided strategic direction on brand storytelling, content creation, and customer experience.
Requirements:
1.Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher academic qualification, a degree in marketing- related fields is preferred.
2.Proficient in both written and spoken English.
3.Possess the capability to independently develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies.
4.Exhibit strong organizational and coordination capabilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of responsibility, high ethical standards, outstanding execution ability, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
