USV Operations Technician
Full-time: Average of 40 hours per week
Full time, hourly: $35 - $45/ hour (overtime eligible)

Overview

We’re looking for energetic talent with experience in undersea or maritime operations to help continue growing as a leader in deployable autonomous maritime solutions for government and commercial customers. We’re looking for a USV Ops Tech to join our Surveillance System team. Our team is responsible for the safe operation of a variety of unmanned boat systems. ThayerMahan is an industry leader in unmanned maritime system/payload integration, and our unmanned operators and Ops personnel are at the tip of that spear, delivering efficient maritime domain awareness.
In this enhanced role, you will also lead field deployments, mentor junior technicians, coordinate vessel movements, support engineering with troubleshooting and test documentation, and contribute operational feedback to improve system reliability.
