Job Title: Strategy Manager – SM/M
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Insights:
- Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and internal assessments to inform strategy development and / or strategic decisions
- Identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges impacting the Bank's business
- Performance Metrics and Monitoring:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure strategic progress
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Initiative Support:
- Lead select initiatives in large cross-functional strategic initiatives; with the oversight of the Strategy Lead
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives forward
- Provide project management support to ensure timely and effective delivery, such as tracking of actual timelines vs planned timelines, benefits / outcomes of the strategic initiatives; identification of course correction actions etc.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support the Strategy Lead in presenting strategic updates to senior leadership
- Prepare updates for presenting to senior and top management / Board on progress of key strategic initiatives; also support Strategy Lead in mid and full year review of the Strategy
- Strategic Risk Management and Governance:
- Track and report on Strategic Risk to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
- Support management of governance, compliance, and internal audit issues for the Strategy & Transformation unit
- Thought Leadership:
- Draft thought leadership pieces on key topics in the financial services sector for Bank consumption; with the support of other Strategy team members
Key Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in strategy development, management consulting, or banking
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Experience with strategy execution and program management
