Job description:
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join us on our journey. The ideal candidate would have experience in finance, advisory or consulting; and a passion for gaming & startup ecosystem. This role involves supporting finance and operations of the fund and portfolio companies, including financial planning, management, reporting, company presentations as well as handling ongoing financial operations and legal processes. The role does not involve deal sourcing or screening.
Job responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of presentations and reporting materials for the investment team, investors and the portfolio companies
- Assist in managing Laton’s day-to-day operations
- Analyze and control the financials of portfolio companies to generate insights and reports to fund management
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Developing fund documentation and ensuring the completeness of compliance material including but not limited to investment memos, KYC documents, and LP documents
- Handle the administrative tasks
- Assist with the planning and organization of company events and any PR related activities
- Support deal execution from an operational and legal process perspective
Preferred qualifications:
- Ambition and drive to win
- Flexibility and multi-tasking in a high-pace start-up environment
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
- 1-3 years of work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Management Consulting, Finance or in a related field
- Outstanding analytical, detail-orientation, problem-solving, execution, communication and ambiguity-management skills
- Proactive, self sufficient, initiative-taking mindset, coupled with an exceptional work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Interest in exploring AI tools
- Fluency in English
- Passion for gaming is a plus
