Job Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

  • Act as primary point of contact for all research aspects within assigned programs and projects.
  • Align with key stakeholders (such as Program Managers, Marketing, IPLs, and Consumer Research (CR) to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Own and define what “good UX” looks like for the category and ensure it is embedded in program goals and deliverables.
  • Shape and maintain the CR research program, contributing to project one-pagers and scope definitions.
  • Translate scope into actionable research logic and development plans.
  • Approve deliverables in PPIM/Windchill and secure milestone readiness.
  • Manage team resource planning (QV, Clarity) for balanced project coverage.
  • Lead milestone alignment, approvals, and represent research in CommCell meetings.

Research Excellence

  • Lead advanced research using mixed methods to uncover insights driving product and design direction.
  • Define and maintain the Development User Framework (Research Agenda) to structure and prioritize research.
  • Ensure validated consumer insights directly inform product and program decisions.
  • Set and track KPIs to measure research quality, impact, and business contribution.

Team & Capability Leadership

  • Mentor and develop researchers, promoting excellence and ownership.
  • Oversee squad staffing to align resources with priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the UX community.
  • Ensures an engaged, innovative and inspiring working environment to stimulate entrepreneurship and driving engagement.

This role will report to R&D Consumer Research Leader.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree or higher education in any of these fields: Human Factors; Psychology; Behavioral sciences; Sensory Science; Industrial Design; Interaction Design; Ergonomics; Human Computer Interaction; Engineering, amended with relevant education or experience in consumer research.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required to have min. English standard of CET-8.
  • A proven track record and at least 15 years of experience in product development, user experience or product research. Experience in pre-development and product development of consumer products is an added advantage.
  • Experience working directly with market research firms in guiding and monitoring outsourced research projects.
  • Proven experience in transforming research findings and market insights into impactful recommendations that drive business outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and creating strong functional teams with robust talent pipeline.
  • Ability to identify, communicate with, and manage expectations of key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
