I work at the intersection of education, technology and public values. My focus is on AI governance, institutional design and professional practice: not only on what technology can do, but on how public institutions remain deliberate, governable and resilient under AI conditions. I am particularly interested in how generative AI makes existing assumptions, dependencies and routines more visible, and how institutions can preserve meaningful choice, human judgment and public responsibility as AI becomes infrastructure. I actively use generative AI as a tool for thinking, analysis and writing. Not to outsource judgment, but to deepen it, sharpen it and reach the essence more deliberately. The interpretations and positions expressed are always my own. Occasionally, I use anthropomorphic language when writing about AI to make structural patterns visible, not to ascribe agency. Governance, accountability and responsibility remain human. I post and engage here in a personal capacity.

AI is transforming the way we learn, teach, and innovate. But technology alone is not the answer. True progress happens when AI is developed and used in a way that is ethical, inclusive, and focused on real educational value. Als Coördinator AI & Onderwijs ondersteun ik de organisatie in de transitie naar werken met generatieve AI. Ik ben betrokken bij het opstellen van beleid en handreikingen, pilottrajecten en onderzoek, ik verzorg trainingen en workshops voor docenten, lectoraten, researchers en kenniscentra, het management en het CvB. Ik ben betrokken bij projecten gericht op de integratie van generatieve AI in het onderwijs, waarbij ik samenwerk met docenten, onderzoekers en IT-specialisten om innovatieve leeromgevingen te creëren en digitale geletterdheid te bevorderen. Daarnaast werk ik aan projecten, waarbij maatwerk tooling wordt gemaakt voor de onderwijsorganisatie, het management en het CvB.
First General Purpose AI Code of Practice Voorgestelde wet- en regelgeving doornemen en voorzien van feedback. Concrete uitwerking van AI Act GPAI, met name op het gebied van auteursrechten en intellectueel eigendom.
