In this position, I teach and mentor students at the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health, grounded in the One Health approach. My work focuses on strengthening the understanding of disease prevention, surveillance systems, public health, and antimicrobial resistance, with emphasis on integrated, cross-sectoral solutions to complex health challenges. I am passionate about building the capacity of future health professionals to think globally, work collaboratively across disciplines, and contribute to resilient health systems, particularly in our resource-limited settings. I look forward to engaging in teaching, research, and partnerships that advance evidence-based public health practice and One Health implementation at global, regional and local levels.

ECOWAS-PACBAO 11 - Intervention project that is co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF) based in Lome Togo, and Edo and Gombe State Government of Nigeria. PACBAO 11 is one of the projects that ECOWAS is using in achieving its strategic vision to establish a modern, sustainable, inclusive, competitive agriculture that guarantees decent jobs, food, and nutrition security and sovereignty. Description: - Perform basic technical and administrative duties such as participating in planning, field supervision of project executions, composing emails, scheduling meetings, answering phone calls on issues of interest to the project. - Participate in organizing workshops and seminars. - Participate in technical reports writing. - Liaison with stakeholders to include livestock farmers and meat value chain operators. - Conduct and grant media interviews and other communication issues as may be approved by Team Leader. - Participates in project monitoring and supportive supervision to partners, project sites and communities. - Supervises the implementation of all advocacy-related programs. - Administers annual project strategy, including engagement plans, budgets, and team project timeline. - Emphasizes that Standard Operating Procedures for all program activities are in place and strictly followed. - Commences an emerging program ideas, develop concept notes and grant applications for funding towards achieving organizational plan. - Oversees program reviews and draw up reports for donors and management. - Executes program activities in a timely and accurate manner. - Provide support for grant management and operations - Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the Team Leader.
