Personal Advantage · Basis of Research I have done almost 3 years of research on more than 6 industries and many companies from other industries in China equity markets. This rare experience gives me two things, the ability to learn sell side research outputs quickly, and to understand buy side needs for research quickly. · Potential of Sales This potential was found after starting my stock research career. I tend to have the instinct to communicate with people, to understand their needs and to respond. Things like fulfilling clients’ needs would make me satisfied. Also, my ability to connect resources would help such works. Besides my daily research job, I participated in projects like share sale of Pre-IPO firm, financing for PPP project, and debt issuance of listed company. · Ability to Learn I have taken almost all the temporary quick research tasks in my current company, and have kept learning new things. I arm myself with such ability and willingness of learning in daily work. · Conducted research on industries of Automobile and New Energy. Used to cover Computer, Communication, part of Non-ferrous Metal, etc. Conducted quick research task of industries, companies, and also topics of directional issuance, companies for backdoor listing, and equity change. · Conducted research on companies within my scope, and submitted over 50 company reports, plus daily comments on company announcements. Finished over 10 reports on industries and specific topics, including Database for passenger cars, EV and HEV, Li-ion Batteries, Lithium and Cobalt, Cloud Computing, SaaS, etc. · Participated in company field researches, conference of strategies, and conference calls. Submitted almost 300 reports in detail. · Recommended buying in stocks, successful recommendation included Mingtai Aluminum, Camel Group, Sinnet Technology, and Dawning Information in 2016; SAIC, Tianqi Lithium, Geely Auto, Sanhua Intelligence Control, Hengtong Optic-electric, Wuliangye, and Yili Industrial in 2017; Huayou Cobalt, Geely Auto, Huayu Automotive System, and Kuncai Material Technology in 2018. These stocks realized overall positive return during holding period. My rate of successful recommendation is about 50%.
· Conducted research on over 30 PE and New OTC Market investment target companies, including UPYUN, 1919 Wines & Spirits Platform, and Transcend Communication. Eliminated most of the companies. The rest of them went into due diligence by other colleagues. Conducted research on industries related to the companies, such as CDN and APM. · Assisted investment managers in due diligence on UPYUN and Zhongxing Release.
· Assisted in writing credit reports and participated in due diligences on customers.
· Collated and categorized materials of trust products and contracts.
