Project/Major Activity Description GCR belong to Data warehouse fileds. We process the data comes from BAT team. GMMP team will use the data have been processed by GCR team. some of the reports and our data is also used downstream for the Excel Standard Report Packages (SRPs),The SRPs are very visible to our customer and other IBM execs.For the final section, all the data will be delivery to Report team to be displayed in WEB site. GCR is one of the most important and lowest level data processing step for the whole financial value of IGA. The main responsibility is that maintain the system working and do the works related to the Develop ETL job , Script program and Operation.task. Including DB2 database maintenance and monitoring, Sync up data from one machine to another one. Backup data from our database. AIX system maintenance, Archive files and monitor system space room usage, etc. Develop and Operation works related to Datastage and DB2. Monitor DataStage jobs Daily,and keep the eyes on performance. Maintain the metadata for variety sources system. Develop the Datastage jobs to connect different database and extract data, transform data and load data from source DB to target DB. Repair bugs for Datastage jobs. Develop DB2 Store procedure to process data related to ETL working. Write shell to complete some of the work that can be automated so that improve working efficiency.
