Asst. Prof. Želimir Bertić, PhD, earned his doctorate at Alma Mater Europaea University in 2019. He is employed at the Public Health Institute of Bjelovar-Bilogora County and teaches at the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka, as well as at the Polytechnic of Ivanić-Grad and the Polytechnic of Bjelovar. His scientific and professional work focuses on public health, social gerontology, and preventive medicine, particularly in the field of chronic diseases. He is actively involved in several professional societies and humanitarian organizations.
