WP026.9 - AREA CENTRAL UTILITY MITIGATIONS Responsible for managing the design on this utility diversion project covering Area Central, Łukasz followed stringent HS2 technical assurance processes and successfully liaised with respective statutory undertakers. He seamlessly integrated design and construction aspects, ensuring that complex traffic management, environmental, programme, and commercial requirements were met. He led innovation initiatives such as the implementation of solution on Paltem Liner, the use of robotics in CCTV surveys on medium pressure gas mains, and the adoption of photogrammetry for precise design development. Łukasz assumed significant PM responsibilities in the absence of dedicated PM support for the initial 4-6 months. This included close liaison with the client’s PM, progress reporting, updating contractual agreements with Arcadis and DACI, raising queries and early warnings, updating the programme with planners, and actively contributing to collaborative working sessions. He also led his team in developing new skills for processing photogrammetry, leveraging his surveying knowledge and network within the wider Murphy group.
