UPDATE: Leading software systems for AI robotics at Sunday Robotics. Hiring software engineers at all levels. X: @henry_yu_01 I'm a passionate problem solver with 6 years' out-of-class software engineering and product development experience that have been bringing real impact. I founded an EdTech startup EduRoute (aka SchedGo) that has 2,000+ MAUs and taught an upper-div mobile app dev class (ECS 198) as a undergrad instructor at UC Davis with 40 students enrolled. I also completed 2 SDE internships and 7-month full-time at Amazon and contributed to LLVM compiler during my undergrad research on fuzzing.
Leading all kinds of software systems for AI robotics including Data Infra, Cloud, Mobile, Web, Firmware, AI/ML, AR/XR, Human-Robot Voice Interaction, DevOps, Security, IT, etc.
An EdTech startup making education easy. (SchedGo is now part of EduRoute) https://eduroute.ai
✨SchedGo is an AI-powered web & mobile academic planner that generates optimized class schedules & degree plans based on each student’s unique needs and goals. 🚀The class scheduler has been used and loved by 2,000+ students across 4 colleges in California. https://schedgo.com - Designed & developed Progressive Web App (PWA) using React in TypeScript, available on Web, Android, and iOS; - Architected a secure, reliable, scalable, cost-optimized, operationally excellent technical stack on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS, Cloudflare, and Firebase; - Developed containerized microservices using modern .NET in C#; - Integrated 4 colleges in California efficiently by designing generic abstraction layers to enable 87% code share; - Generated 2,000+ Monthly Active Users (MAUs) and saved 10,000+ hours for students every term; - Won 1st Prize & People’s Choice Award totaling $30,000 at 23rd UC Davis Big Bang Business Competition.
- Developed a specialized fuzzer in C++ with PhD student Peter Rong to find latent bugs in LLVM compiler backends; - Written Python scripts to systematically classify thousands of crashes found for each hardware architecture; - Discovered, analyzed, and reported 47 LLVM bugs including 29 fixed by engineers at Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, etc.
