Nanotechnology Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a strong foundation in material science, systems design, and hands-on fabrication. Active member of UW Baja SAE and Biotron, where I focus on mechanical design, CAD modeling, and the integration of complex engineering systems. I specialize in bridging the gap between nanoscale theory and macro-scale implementation. Through my work on design teams, I have developed a strong proficiency in prototyping and technical problem-solving within multidisciplinary environments. Seeking co-op opportunities to apply my background in systems engineering, mechanical prototyping, and precision design to real-world engineering challenges.
-Designing mechanical parts for wearable devices using human-focused design and material science. -Using SolidWorks to build 3D models and testing them to make sure they move smoothly and stay strong. -Choosing the best metals or plastics for prototypes based on strength and durability. -Researching how exoskeleton joints move to plan the best mechanical design for the device.
-Creating custom printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer to manage the vehicle’s electronic systems. -Researching and testing DC-DC buck converters to ensure sensors and data tools receive steady, safe power from the battery. - Running design rule checks to find and solve mistakes in the board layout before the final fabrication and assembly phase.
- Acted as a teacher assistant role - Aided students ages 5-8 with mental maths equations, helping them comprehend basic mathematical operations - Organised activities for strengthening basic mental strategies to achieve success in problem-solving - Robotics: Learned and created HTML, CSS, Python.
