Digital Architectural Design & BIM (Pedagogy & Practice) Currently, I have a PhD in Digital Architectural Design and Technology at Liverpool School of Architecture. My PhD research is in the area of Digital Architectural Design and Technology. It is focusing on implementing a hybrid methodological approach/framework for digital design and energy simulation technologies (Parametric and Building Energy Performance Simulation Models) in architectural pedagogy that will provide interactive feedback and design decisions making support for the architecture students during the early design stage, in the design studio environment. I worked on many digital tools for environmental and energy simulation, such as Ladybug and Honeybee/Rhino-Grasshopper, EcoDesigner/ ArchiCAD, Ecotect, Geco Analysis/Rhino- Grasshopper, and Autodesk 360 Energy Analysis. I have advanced skills in design and modelling using ArchiCAD, Revit Architecture, Solibri Model Checker, and a good understanding of other Building Informational Building (BIM) authoring software. I delivered many lectures and workshops for MSc BIM and Digital Integrated Design programme at Liverpool School of Architecture. I have advanced skills in many other modelling software includes, but is not limited to, Rhino 3D and Grasshopper 3D, 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, Autodesk FormIt. I have a good understanding of implementing VR and AR in design projects. I worked on 3D scanning for some heritage sites. Also, I am a technical advisor for BIMArabia Journal and magazine.
