HARMAN designs and engineers connected products and solutions for automakers, consumers, and enterprises worldwide, including connected car systems, audio and visual products, enterprise automation solutions; and connected services. As the only structural CAE engineer in Europe within Harman Automotive Department my daily work consists of: • Random Vibration and Mechanical Shock analysis coupled fatigue evaluation of short fiber reinforced composite speaker baskets and enclosures to BMW, Volvo • Eigenfrequency analysis of amplifiers, speaker baskets, enclosures to BMW, Volvo • Leading Dynamics case study of KIA speaker basket to see the effect of consideration of short fiber orientations (APDL) • Leading training material preparations for Chinese colleagues on following fields: linear dynamics, basic FEA, snap fit analysis • Participating in training material preparations on following fields: fatigue evaluation, topology optimization • Hand calculations and nonlinear quasi-static analysis of snap fit connections to Bentley, Volvo • Drop test simulations (explicit dynamics) of tweeters to Daimler, Volvo • Mentoring a relocated CAE Indian colleague
• Nonlinear static analysis of long-fiber reinforced composite wind turbine blade for Robotics - Amores Kft. (Ansys ACP)
Knorr-Bremse is one of the market leader companies in rail and truck engineering. The Research and Development Center of Budapest solely deals with the company’s truck industry activities. R&D Center of Budapest is the headquarters of the simulation department. As part of the simulation group my main responsibilities were: • Static FEA coupled fatigue analysis of crankshafts, crankcases of compressors, torsional dampers to Scania, MAN and steering systems to Navistar • Random Vibration analysis of crankcases of compressors to Scania, MAN • Thermalshock analysis of compressors to Scania, MAN in order to see the sealing ability of gaskets • Leading the interpretation of gasket supplier’s Thermalshock analysis methodology for Ansys software • Supporting Indian CAE colleagues
C3S develops and manufactures 3/6/12/16U platforms and redundant subsystems like OBC, EPS, and communication modules to meet the requirements of IoT, Earth Observation and space monitoring constellation missions. Beyond CubeSats, C3S participates in large stallite projects as the designer of power distribution systems and payload synchronization. As a Thermal Engineer I was resonsible for: - Assessing analysis in ESATAN to predict the thermal behaviour of CubeSats on orbit and in TVAC test environments - Assessing analysis in ESATAN to predict the thermal behaviour of Power Distribution Subsystem in Large Satellites - Thermal Design of CubeSats and Power Distribution System of Large Satellites - Leading TVAC tests which included: - Preparing Test predictions in ESATAN - Planning the placements of Thermocouples - Preparing Test procedures - Participating in the process of assembling the test environment and placing the CubeSat in the chamber - General cooperation with the test team - Model correlation I had been participating in the following projects: - RADCUBE - VIREO - OWL - GRASSHOPPER
