I was directly responsible for giving comfort to our customers regards to the daily risk mitigation efforts. These years teached me great lessons about team work, partnership, leadership and the times when we can show who we are, what is our value contribution and how Procurement can make a difference.

Ramping-up a newly hired team and building them together with the other stakeholders had been a great pleasure and common achievement.

The next chapter of my professional life what definitely completed my operational P2P mindset with all the strategic S2C considerations and business aspects to form a full S2P responsibility. In the role of COE Global Supply Chain Management I was leading commercial negotiations, global strategy deployment and E2E risk control over the multi-Billion value chain. All these came along with the introduction of new tools and processes, as well as driving transformation across the global organization of 20+ highly performing individuals. It also consists of the introduction of e-based solutions, and i4.0 practices as pioneer within the community. For a period I was also in charge for the Global Supplier Quality Assurance where my quality mindset and VDA6.3 Auditor certification both proved beneficial. In this role I was managing the ESG (EHS) compliance for the supplier base. I had been honored to assign to the MBA program of Yale School of Management.

I cannot imagine a better place than a vibrant factory with 11k+ workers serving the TOP global customers within the Automotive, Computing, Industrial and Consumer segments. Flextronics International (Global No2 EMS) granted me an environment where I could quickly develop myself into a decision-making team leader while understanding the nuts & bolts of the day-to-day business operation. I left the company with a highly motivated team of 25 top-delivering individuals and successful mitigation of the GFC across 2008 and 2009.
