Significant experience as a curator and consultant with a focus on cultural heritage, contemporary art, social practice, re-visiting histories, and decolonisation. Artists' projects curated/co-curated include: Louise Bourgeois, Tania Bruguera, Yoko Ono, Donald Rodney, Doris Salcedo, Zineb Sedira. Multi-site projects include: Craftivism and Far West Metro (Arnolfini and off-site, Bristol), Lois Weinberger (Camden Arts Centre and Freud Museum, London), The Visible & the Invisible (InIVA at Friends House, St Pancras Church, University College London and Wellcome Collection), Patterns (Spacex and off-site including at the Institute for Arab & Islamic Studies, Exeter Mosque, Exeter Cathedral), Human Cargo: Excavating the Contemporary Legacy of the Transatlantic Slave Trade in Plymouth and Devon (Plymouth Museum and off-site, with NPG), Art for Life (interventions in the Wellcome Collection, London), Homeland (Spacex and off-site at Royal Albert Memorial Museum Exeter, various shops & outdoor sites), Anti-Bodies: beyond the body ideal, participative commissions for outdoor sites in three cities and online platforms as part of the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

    Contributed to the curation and planning of the programme of this Arts Council England NPO for Visual Arts, including residencies and commissions responding to the ceramics collections and wider contexts by Freya Gabie, Juneau Projects and others. Produced a Visual Arts Plan 2019-22.

    Research and development support on 'Time Being' a film commission by Deborah Robinson, in collaboration with Ruairi Corr, exploring what it means to wait, alongside experiences of time and care. Part of multi-stranded research project 'Waiting Times' led by University of Exeter and Birkbeck, University of London. Funded by the Wellcome Trust. First screened Maketank Exeter Sept 2020.

    Supported South West properties to develop their creative programmes. Planned/delivered curatorial practice workshops; advised properties on artist selection, partnership development, budgeting, fundraising. Devised artist briefs: MODEL LANDSCAPE (Stourhead) and PEACE (Lacock Abbey) resulting in commissions by Sam Smith, ALT Architecture, Heinrich and Palmer.

    Supported 2020 opening programme. Initiated and developed commissions reflecting on formation of the new Museum and galleries. Produced artist briefs, costed plans and managed visits, inviting John Akomfrah, Sonia Boyce and Neil Cummings to contribute to discussions. One outcome being a film commission by John Akomfrah.
