Built a proof-of-concept AI medication safety assistant for clinicians managing patients with liver disease and diabetes independently. Drew from peer-reviewed research on RAG in healthcare to inform retrieval strategy. The system answers questions about drug interactions, dosages and safety warnings. Benchmarked across several AI models with iterative retrieval optimisations, improving on answer quality.
Created the content and slides, along with lecturing and mentoring students. CPIC is a student-led training camp, attended by around 150 students from 60 schools. This initiative is sponsored by NUS-CeNCE and Hudson River Trading. https://cpic.sg
