Hey from a growing psychologist (and graphic designer, baker, ceramicist)! :) As a Psychology and Statistics student, I'm interested in positive and prosocial emotions (especially empathy and awe), intergroup relations, social connections, creativity and curiosity, and how art affects people. I love traveling (often for conference purpose lol), graphic design, ceramics, and baking outside academic life!
I will work with Dr. Lumumba Seegars in Organizational Behavior. I will use qualitative methods to study the evolution of equity and inclusion in organizations.

Faculty research advisor: Dr. Sa-kiera Tiarra Jolynn Hudson I received the $5000 fellowship for my proposed research project on awe and empathy. This project aims to investigate the potential of using awe to reduce the gap phenomena in empathy, where people more empathize with in-group than out-group members.
Faculty research advisor: Dr. Sa-kiera Tiarra Jolynn Hudson I received the fellowship of $2575 to further investigate the potential of using awe to reduce empathy gap during the 25-26 academic year. The budget covers the fee of recruiting participants and traveling to conferences. I'm so honored and excited to receive two fellowships (SURF & GGSC) for my first independent project!
I received the year-long fellowship of $2000 as one of the mentees for my mentor Gisselle Rodriguez Benitez, for her projects in the field of computational social science.
