Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Hi community! I am currently pursuing a MA in Global Policy (MGP) at Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies, focusing on Development Policy. I recently graduated from Reed College, where I majored in Philosophy with minors in Economics and Film & Media Studies. My academic and research interests center on China’s development policy and the growth of Chinese NGOs, exploring how state-led development strategies intersect with grassroots initiatives and how policy frameworks shape social innovation. With training across philosophy, economics, and media, I bring an interdisciplinary approach to understanding complex development challenges—combining ethical reflection, economic reasoning, and strategic communication to support sustainable and inclusive policymaking. I am passionate about advancing evidence-based development policies, promoting nonprofit capacity-building, and facilitating cross-sector collaboration that drives positive social change. I believe in continuous learning and purposeful practice — staying curious, reflective, and committed to making a meaningful impact through thoughtful policy and community engagement!
