I did my Final Year Project (FYP) under the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. My project aimed to elucidate the mechanism of action of a repurposed drug to treat Enterovirus A71 infections in vitro and in vivo.
Supported a global team of scientists and project managers in literature review, protocol development and project coordination for a nutritional intervention in older adults.
I did my Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme in Science (UROPS) under the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. My project aimed to investigate mutations that disabled CI repression to lock temperate phages in the lytic cycle.
Assisted educators of 50 students with special needs (7 to 13 years old) in classroom management, and helped with preparation of daily activities and teaching materials.
- Supported teachers in delivering lessons and managing preschoolers. - Designed and conducted 2 engaging lessons for preschoolers to inculcate moral values in them.
