Back in High School, Data Analytics has been my passion. Whenever I used Taobao, the most prominent Chinese shopping site, I always marveled at its precise recommendations. Much later, I began to understand that the magic lay in Data Analytics, and that ignited my interest in it for the first time. With my strong foundation in both mathematics and statistics, I pursue a master degree in Information Systems Management-Business Intelligence and Data Analysis at Carnegie Mellon University. I am developing a range of professional skills, such as machining learning, database management. Moreover, I hope to become a data analyst and engage in machine learning modeling. I earned applied statistics at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, where I participated in many data analytics related competitions and projects. Out of interest in data analytics, I went on to work as a data analyst intern at Tencent. The experience deepened my understanding of how data analytics works in industries and real life.
