For the past 8 years, I've worked as a product development engineer, bringing physical products from concept through manufacturing. What started as a focus on product engineering evolved into something more—I discovered a passion for business systems and technology management when I organically took on responsibility for IT processes within our ERP system (JD Edwards). As I became a subject matter expert, I found deep satisfaction in translating between technical capabilities and business requirements, ensuring our teams had the systems and processes they needed to succeed. This experience revealed where I wanted to take my career: leading projects and programs that leverage technology to solve business problems. I recently completed my Master's in Product Design and Development Management, gaining knowledge in product management, finance and accounting, innovation management, and project management—skills that complement my technical foundation and prepare me to drive initiatives from strategy through execution. I bring a unique perspective to technology project management: the engineering mindset to understand technical complexity, the operational experience to know what teams actually need, and the communication skills to ensure alignment across functions. Architectural Systems (Acoustics) Team Managed all technical, design, and operational activities for new and existing products within our growing acoustics solutions portfolio. Developed and launched several new ceiling and lighting systems including Mora, Acoustic Nivo, Acoustic Original, and Lia. Consulted with leadership as a subject matter expert on JD Edwards (JDE), resolving issues and translating needs between users and IT to facilitate quicker resolutions. Developed new processes within the ERP system to streamline information flow for engineers and the internal manufacturing team.
Custom Product Engineering Team Engineered customizations of standard products to meet specific electrical, mechanical, regulatory compliance, and aesthetic requirements within time frames of half a day to several months. Served as project manager for large custom orders, coordinating engineering and manufacturing efforts.
