Mr. Zhai Zhao is the Vice President of VanJee LiDAR as well as Director of VanJee International Business Development Division. He leads the team to supply LiDAR over 40 countries and successfully deliver complex WIM and C-V2X projects across various countries. Zhai is also an active columnist and public speaker, sharing his insights on global advancement of LiDAR technology and ITS system. He has a diverse background, having worked in Beijing, Washington, D.C., and New York City with institutions including VanJee Technology, the U.S. CFTC, and ACEEE. Zhai earned his Master of Public Policy from George Washington University and his Bachelor degree in Economics from CUNY Baruch College. In his free time, he enjoys reading about history and philosophy, and he loves taking on challenges like marathons, triathlons, and trail running races.

• Evaluated market participants’ trading behavior including market manipulation and supply chain control to determine whether the participants comply with the Commodity Exchange Act. • Performed statistical analysis to assess market volatility, inventory level and yield curve to advise attorneys, investigators and economists on assigned commodity and derivatives markets. • Utilized various data sources including Bloomberg, CME and LME to do research on Treasury future contracts, refined oil and copper.
