With 10 people of team, we had learned traditional masonry techniques while building the wall at the Nomeny Castle site within the Etudes et Chantiers organization as an ESC project. We had stayed in tents on the site, worked with the local kids, learned mortar preparation with lime and sand, cleaning the wall, creating a line with the rope, joint allignment, and especially traditional masonry construction.
