4th Year Medical Student at The University of Edinburgh, with an interest in surgery. Originally from Indonesia but raised internationally in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the USA, Malaysia and now the UK. I am highly driven and dedicated in my work. In my first year of medicine, I ranked joint first place overall, scored the highest mark in anatomy and earned a distinction. In my second year of medicine, I earned a distinction, and in my third year, I completed my intercalated degree (BMedSci Health Sciences) with First Class Honours, receiving both the Best Performing Student award (highest overall score) and the Best Research Project award (highest project mark). I am fascinated by specialties that demand high precision, fine motor skills and meticulous attention to detail. My current interests include plastic & reconstructive surgery, ophthalmology and neurosurgery. However, I remain open-minded and am keen to explore everything that medicine has to offer 😺
