I am a runner, weather and data nerd, and live with a brain cancer diagnosis. Dana-Farber Cancer Institute saved my life, and I am living proof that defying cancer is possible. I wouldn’t be walking, talking, or running today without the people whose life’s work made it possible for me to be here. Even with ongoing active treatment, this type of brain cancer isn’t the sort that goes into remission, only clean MRI scans. There is no cure - yet! Formerly, I was a Coast Guard Officer and leader, serving 22 years first as an enlisted rescue swimmer and later an ATP rated rotary wing flight examiner and CG Aeronautical Engineering Officer. I had a demonstrated history of success working in military aviation and operations; software development; data integration, visualization and application development; aircraft maintenance management; enterprise supply chain logistics; and project management. Medically retired summer 2024.
