I am responsible for leading Global HR Projects at Beko in the areas of Leadership, Culture, transformation & DE&I. Beko in Europe was erstwhile known as Whirlpool, a global top Consumer Durables player in the mid and large home appliances segment.
Responsible for leading HR Centre’s of Expertise (COEs) for the Europe region for Beko (erst. Whirlpool) and partnering closely with Business leadership teams in the EU region & HR leaders globally to deploy business impacting people initiatives and running robust HR initiatives & processes. The COE areas I was responsible for included Talent Management & Leadership Development, Performance Management & Culture, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, Learning & Development, Inclusion & Diversity, Global Mobility and driving transformations. The role had flavors of providing strategic inputs, HR Business Partnering, ensuring execution excellence, and influencing a wide set of leaders and stakeholders across the Europe region. An additional highlight of my experience in this role for approx. 18-24 months, was co-leading all the HR preparations towards our planned M&A and supporting the formation of a stand-alone new organization.
In my role as HR Business Partner for Philips Personal Health (B2C) businesses in India, I assist in enabling business for both our flagship Brands Philips & Preethi Kitchen Appliances at an Indian Sub-continent level. This includes managing the end to end spectrum of our businesses in India comprising of Innovation hubs, Manufacturing sites, commercial organization & all functions, across 13 different categories which we have a presence in. I also have the dual responsibility of spearheading HR at a Philips Healthtech level (B2B and B2C) in India for all our Corporate functions.
As the HR Head & Business Partner for the Philips Consumer business in India, I am responsible for championing the People & Talent Strategy for our businesses in India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka across multiple business categories i.e. in Domestic Appliances, Personal Care & Health & Wellness.
At Johnson & Johnson, I have had versatile experience in Human Resources having done various roles spanning across Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering, Mergers & Acquisitions and HR Transformations. . In my last assignment in J&J, I was the Head of Recruitment for all businesses in J&J Medical India. I was also the M&A lead for India for an ongoing M&A project in India. I have diverse experience in Talent Acquisition which spans across HR Business Partnering & Talent Management, establishing RPOs, Campus/University hiring (at both, the top MBA and Engineering institutes in India and abroad), Lateral hiring (including hiring for specific talent pools) and designing and executing best-in-class Talent Acquisition programs.
At AstraZeneca, as a Business Based HR Partner for the Regional Supply Chain, Regional R&D & Business Analytics teams, I was responsible for handling the entire gamut of activities from Recruitment, Compensation and benefits, Performance management, Employee engagement etc.
