About

As the director-founder of World Brain Scholar I lead a research and innovation company that develops and applies AI solutions for the publishing industry. With over 20 years of experience in online publishing, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the digital era, and a strong vision of how AI can enhance the quality, accessibility, and impact of scientific and academic publications. Prior to founding World Brain, I created and ran Atlantis Press, a successful and genuine scientific and Open Access publisher that was acquired by Springer Nature in 2021. I am also an associate professor of digital publishing and science at Université Libre de Bruxelles, where I teach and conduct research in the fields of philosophy, AI, and publishing. Additionally, I have been a consultant for the European Commission on online publishing issues, and a senior publisher of books and journals at Elsevier Science. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and innovation in my domain, and I speak four languages fluently.
