As a volunteer with Robin Hood Foundation in Ahmedabad, I actively contributed to reducing food waste and addressing hunger by coordinating the collection of surplus meals from local restaurants and delivering them directly to underprivileged individuals on the streets. This role involved collaborating closely with restaurant staff and fellow volunteers to ensure timely and efficient food distribution while maintaining respectful engagement with the community. Through this experience, I developed strong organizational and communication skills, gained a deeper understanding of social issues like food insecurity, and fostered a commitment to making a positive impact in underserved populations.
