Fashion Designer for Luxury pret and pret. I acted in the capacity of fashion designer. I was a part of the prêt team.I designed, developed and executed the dyed and embroidered prêt collection. This included • draping • providing direction in pattern making • textile design • design development using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for garments that were mass produced (approximately 1000 pieces per design) I was also given the additional charge of designing the Luxury Prêt collection which included semi-formal garments, a higher priced product of the company. I also designed garments for the teen’s line. This was a time sensitive job where I was able to meet difficult deadlines whilst managing a team of over 30 tailors and pattern makers which helped me demonstrate my administration and leadership skills.
I acted as a free-lance fashion designer for bridal wear. • I designed the winter bridal collection which comprised of 10 couture pieces. • The collection included both contemporary and traditional designs. • This project included developing the concept of the collection as well as the o color palette o fabrication o embellishment techniques o cuts.
I worked as a fashion design intern. I assisted Kamiar Rokni in dealing with clients, customizing their orders and providing and implementing appropriate styling for Bridal Couture Week 2016.I also assisted in designing his fashion week collection for FPL. I made textile samples using different techniques and embellishments.
