I work with a leading HPB surgical oncologist at the Icahn School of Medicine and the Mount Sinai Health System, supporting research in liver, biliary, pancreatic, and upper GI cancers. My work includes data analysis, literature review, outcomes research, and manuscript development within a high-volume, multi-hospital surgical oncology team. I also assist with projects evaluating minimally invasive and robotic approaches to complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, gaining exposure to cutting-edge techniques in robotic liver and pancreatic resections. This role strengthens my skills in clinical research, oncology analytics, and collaboration in advanced academic surgical environments.
As a co-owner of YAAAS Tea Astoria, I oversee operations, strategy, and growth for our premium bubble tea franchise located in one of Queens’ most vibrant neighborhoods. Our store delivers handcrafted bubble teas, Coffee, baked goods and specialty drinks that blend authentic Taiwanese flavors with a modern, community-driven brand experience. My responsibilities include business development, financial management, team leadership, and marketing initiatives—both in-store and through delivery platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash. I focus on creating efficient systems, strong customer engagement, and scalable performance as we position YAAAS Tea for continued expansion across New York City.
